Summer Weddings are perfect for an outdoor ceremony and the stunning space at Wotton House in Dorking is an impressive venue. With its amazing architecture the Roman Temple is set within stunning Italian gardens of this 17th century house. The Italian Gardens of Wotton House are full of history and are Grade II listed making this a unique setting for an Outdoor Ceremony. The impressive pillared Old Library is a beautiful indoor space which can also be used for Ceremonies and Receptions.
I was lucky to work on this gorgeous styled shoot designed at Wotton House, planned and styled by the lovely Georgina at Georgina Alexander Weddings. For the outdoor ceremony I created an asymmetrical free standing floral arch which was installed in front of the Temple in the Italian Garden. Using a selection of wonderful foliage like Olive, Italian Ruscus the arch echoed and complemented the gardens beautifully.
The pastel colour palette of blush, pale pink and pale peach with soft greenery created a romantic modern feel. The Bridal bouquet, classic, romantic yet modern and sophisticated was full of beautiful seasonal Peony, Garden Juliet roses, Sweet and Pearl Avalanche roses, bombastic spray roses, Lisianthus, Astilbe, Astrantia, Orange blossom and Phalaenopsis orchids. Mytrle and Rosemary were in the bouquet for fragrance, remembrance and significance.
